Endless Mountains...Endless Abundance
Welcome to Hawk Hill Farms, located in  the scenic Endless Mountains of
Pennsylvania. Made with an abundance of natural ingredients from the bounty
of our pristine and scenic countryside, our products will help you enjoy a
healthy lifestyle.
The story of our company began in 1999,
when we bought 45 acres in Bradford County,
Pa. for a retirement home.
Unfortunately, the undeveloped land was
covered with wild rose bushes (quite different
from the roses pictured here). To overcome this
problem,  we decided to get goats to eat the
rose bushes. But we didn't know what kind to
buy. There were just too many breeds to
choose from.
How It All Began
In making our decision, we thought about other uses for the goats. "Do we want to milk and make
cheese,  do we want to spin, do we want to sell them for meat?," we asked ourselves.

We did find there was a need for more meat for those who don't consume pork or beef, so meat
goats (BOERS) seemed like the right choice. We decided to use the extra milk to produce a
chemical-free soap which anyone can use, young or old, as an alternative to the harshness of
store-bought soap.
After doing our homework, we decided to use essential oils for the soap, which are better than a
perfume, which has alcohol, a drying agent of the skin. We started using herbs from our own
garden and spices, which we were able to get at the health food store. At first, we made the soap
for ourselves. Then, we gave some soap as presents and soon the word got out about our soap.
Others found that "Hawk Hill Soap" was great for the skin.

We now have more then a dozen molds in several shapes for our soap. We appear at craft shows
around the area, and are also involved with the local farmers markets where you can come and
smell the different scents. Lavender and Tea Tree are the big sellers. Lavender soothes not just the
skin, but also the mind...relaxing. Tea Tree is great for teenage acne.

You too will enjoy the old-fashioned way we make the soap...one by one.
