| The story of our company... In 2004, Lura and Vince, the owners of New Era Cabin Creations, found their dream home in the rolling hills of Bradford County, Pa. -- a small log cabin sitting in the midst of 20 wooded acres in New Era. |
Having always lived in suburbia, they are really enjoying country living. They spent many years working at careers in the computer business and decided they wanted to do the things they really enjoy doing most and at the same time provide quality craft items to others. Vince loves woodworking and so is focusing on building a variety of bird feeders including an “upside down feeder” that woodpeckers, nuthatches, and chickadees love and squirrels can’t get at. Lura spins and produces hand-dyed yarn which is sold as-is or knit into a variety of products. The fleece which is used for spinning is Romney or Tunis fleece from sheep raised in Bradford County. In addition, some items for sale are knit from unique manufactured yarns. |
