Eric Armstrong visits students in Tunkhannock, Pa.

TUNKHANNOCK, PA. -- Third graders in Julie Savage's class at Roslund
Elementary School had fun with "Skyler C. Gull" in May during the 2008-09
school year. "Skyler C. Gull" author Eric Armstrong visited the students.

During his visit, Eric talked to the children about writing his book and taught
them how to draw Skyler C. Gull and Skyler's friend Crabi. In addition, the kids
listened to songs from the upcoming Skyler C. Gull album called "Beach
Songs" and did "The Seagull Shuffle." They also  took part in a sandcastle
contest.

Everybody had an "egg-cellent" time. Ms. Savage even shared a story about a
one-legged seagull she saw a long time ago.
